Getting Started: Your First Steps

Setting up your Velox account is quick and easy. Here’s how to get started:

1. Create Your Account: The first step is to sign up and complete the required KYC (Know Your Customer) process.
2. Access Your New Velox Wallet: Once you sign in, a personal Velox wallet is automatically created for you. You can find its QR code on the home screen by tapping “Receive”.
3. Connect Your Extermal Wallets: To add funds, connect your existing on-chain wallets like MetaMask or Phantom. You can manage your connected wallets under Account > Wallet Management > My Wallets. Velox will request authorization to view your wallet’s stablecoin balance. You can connect multiple wallets.

Funding Your Velox Wallet (Top-Up)

To add funds, simply navigate to Home > Top Up, enter the amount, and select one of your connected wallets to transfer from. You will need to authorize the transfer. The process is typically completed in under a minute, and you can view the transaction details in your transaction history.

Receiving Payments

You have two convenient options for receiving stablecoins:

1. QR Code: Share your unique QR code (Home > Receive) to accept payments directly from other Velox users.

   • Important: This QR code only works for transfers from other Velox wallets. Attempting to send funds from other networks will not work, and Velox is not responsible for any resulting loss.

2. Request via Link: Generate a custom payment link by entering a specific amount. Share this link via messaging apps or by copying it directly. The payer does not need a Velox account; they simply click the link, connect their own Web3 wallet, and approve the transaction. The payment will appear in your history as a deposit from a “Payment Link”.

Sending Payments

Sending funds is just as easy:

1. Direct Transfer to a Velox User: You can send stablecoins to another Velox user instantly by using their User ID: Find the send option at Home > Send and enter the recipient’s ID. Your User ID is located in the Account Section.
2. Tranfer via Message: Create a secure payment link to send funds. When you generate this link, the specified amount is immediately deducted from your balance to guarantee the funds for the recipient.
   • Share this link with the intended receipient. They will receive the funds as soon as they click it.
   • Security Note: Keep your transfer link secure. Velox cannot recover funds if an unintended person gains access to the link and claims the money.
   • Unclaimed transfers expire after 24 hours and are automatically refunded to your account. You can also manually cancel an unclaimed transfer at any time from your transaction history.

Withdrawing funds

You can withdraw stablecoins from your Velox wallet to any of your connected external wallets. Head to Home > Withdraw, select the wallet, network and amount. Withdrawals typically take about one day to process.
